Rainy Season

Well Rainy Season has offically begun and it rained very hard most of the day. I used my umbrella this am but it was raining so hard that my backpack was soaked and my shoulders and pants got wet but not soaked.
Traffic ofcourse was a mess too because of the hard rain-the bus was like 15 minutes late.
Yesterday one of my kinder students had a wiggly front tooth-she was so excited. Today as soon as I came in she opened her mouth and put her tongue in the spot where he tooth had been. She was so, so excited and happy to show it to me. So this morning during sharing time-we talked all about her loosing her very first tooth and how it happened etc.
My kinder students are so sweet, smart and cute and a true delight to teach. Our days together are full of fun and learning .
The Kinder and Elementary Classes at my school are going to have Vacation the last week of July. They will be have Intensive Elementary Classes during that time starting July 21st. I have been asked to teach a 1st grade Phonics class in the mornings before my Kinder class. Then when the Kinder and Elementary are on vacation I will be teaching the Phonics class and then teaching my Principal's two daughters beginning Reading Skills for 2 hours a day and then get to head home.
My Principal figured with me just getting here I would prefer making overtime pay right now versus taking vacation. I told her defintely and still will have free afternoons for over a week-so planning on having some afternoon adventures like the Zoo and Children's Musuem on those afternoons.
After I got home tonight I ordered some stuff from Amazon.com and a t-shirt from Letsgetthis.org and I can actually get them shipped to South Korea for a very good price so I am Super Excited!!!
