The 2nd day of teaching went well-my kinder did a fun and messy Science experiemnt with flour and water. My Elementary is very smart and we worked on a great reading book called Beach Colors-that has Cd with it-very nice series of books. My after kinder was more responsive and less scared which was great.
Then after work Mandi (one of the other teachers at my school) took me to get a card you can use on metro and bus instead of cash and saves you like equal to 10 cents each time you use it.
Then we went to a cute boutique by school-where the store owner was very friendly and working on her English-she was so nice.
After that we went to a very nice staff dinner in my honor at a lovely, buffet place that had everything you could think of-the Fried Shrimp and the sushi rocked!!!!
This place was very pretty and nice and they put our group in a room all to ourselves.
We had a lovely red wine from Chile to drink.
I feel very welcome in this new place and am learning new things each day.
