One of the Korean Teachers at my school volunteered to give me Korean lessons. I was very excited and ofcourse said yes. We met not very far from my apartment and then she took me to an area near the University by my apartment that has all kinds of cute coffee and tea shops and nice places to eat. We went to a cute Korean place where you sit on mats on the floor-so love doing this and we got to cook the food at the table-love doing that too. It is so yummy and very reasonable.
We had a very nice lunch and then explored the area a bit and then found a nice, little coffee and gelato place and got cappuncios and had a Korean lesson. She taught me Korean constants and vowels and some important words and phrases like Thank You-go mab sum ni da and where is-Un di ye yo etc.
We then went shopping and ofcourse I asked what is the Korean name for this and that etc. but I do better when it is in writing but hey I know alot more than I did a few weeks ago-YAY!!!
It was a very nice day and it is great to have made, a nice new friend who is so sweet to teach me Korean.
What an amazing weekend-NKOTB webcast, Harry Potter movie, spending time with a new friend and getting a Korean lesson-YAY!!
