This morning was the first morning of my Elementary Intensive Phonics. This will last for about a month. For the next few days will have to be in at 8:00am instead of 9:00 to teach the new class plus all my regular classes. Then for about 8 work days I will come in at 8:00 and teach the phonics class and then teach a Special Kinder Reading Class and be done and have my day free from Noon on.
The kids in my new phonics class seem very sweet and smart and very focused on improving their English. This morning's class went very well and very quickly and then it was time for my Kinder Class.
Highlights of today's Kinder Class include painting pictures of fruits and veggies with q-tips and going to Gym with the other 6 year old Kinder Class. My kids have been very shy in gym and have not really wanted to participate much but today finally was able to get them to participate in Simon Says and Duck-Duck-Goose after observing things for a few minutes.
It was another fun-filled day of learning and so, so, so, so, so love my Kinder Class so very much and there are truely a joy!!!
Well need to get up early in the am to go teach my new phonics class so should be heading to bed now-TTFN!!!
