Monday's Classes

Well all this week I just have my Elementary Phonics class for 50 minutes and then have a Kinder Intensive class from 9:30 am until 11:50 and then I am free rest of the day. My Elementary Phonics class is doing great. There are very smart and sweet kids. On Monday morning they are a bit quiet and a bit tired but after about 10 minutes or so they are really getting into the swing of things.
They are doing much better and getting through more pages in the Phonics book than I ever hoped or expected.
Today was the first day in my Kinder Intensive class for the little boy who needs the extra help and is struggling in the regular Kinder Class. His speaking skills are low but he understands more than I thought and his parents are willingly to work with him two to three hours a night to help him improve.
It is going to be a challenge but I think the next few days will really help him and I am up for the challenge. I see his potential and think he is a very bright boy and think if he works hard in class and his parents work with him at home we can see a lot of improvement in a short time. We will see how the rest of the week goes and how he does.
He worked really hard today and seemed to catch on fairly quickly let's hope that continues the whole week.
