Well today was the last day with my regular Kinder and Elementary Class for almost two weeks. Starting tomorrow I will go in to school at 8am and teach my Level I Phonics Class for one hour and then a Kinder Intensive Class in Reading for 3 hours. Then I have the rest of the day free and plan to try to do some exploring.
My Kinder kids and I had a great day-lots of learning and fun and lots of reading. So excited as my one little girl is doing a fantastic job at reading and is literally trying to read everything and my other little girl attempted and read her first sentence ever by herself today.
I ran over and high-fived her and then hugged her I was so excited and she kept reading that same sentence over and over because she was so excited and proud!!! We had a Quiz Contest with all 3 Kinder Classes and my kids did such a wonderful job and it was a blast!!!
I did a Daily Sentence Game/Quiz with my Elementary Class and they totally did a fantastic job and all got a sheet of stickers for doing such an awesome job.
Today was Gym day for my After Kinder and we played Soccer-their favorite game and had a blast as usual. Feel like a kid again when I am running around with them kicking the ball and laughing and everyone is so happy and just having a great time.
It was a great day and will miss my regular kids while they are on vacation.
